TLC at a geothermal power plant

Iceland is commonly called a country of contrasts. The island located on the border of two continents has an extraordinary natural wealth. Canyons, glaciers, mountains and caves as well as volcanoes, geysers and hot springs. The Icelanders have learnt to make a great use of the benefits of their particular geographical location. This country, being a volcanic island, has ideal conditions for the development of geothermal energy, which meets 1/3 of the country’s total demand for electricity and heat.

The TLC company commissioned by the Icelandic company LNS Saga has made steel constructions like technical stairs and industrial guardrails dedicated for one of the local geothermal power plants. This modern power plant was created in place surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes, being in full harmony with the environment.

This project is very important to us, as it meets with the TLC mission. All activities undertaken by our company are consistent with the doctrine of sustainable development. We strive to do this primarily by reducing the environmental factors that are negative for the environment. We also try to minimize our impact in the area of transport services and waste management.

We constantly remember that innovative projects are a common concern for people and the environment.
